As I posted before, I feel the Messiah’s (as) martyrs in Afghanistan are a big reason why the nation is in the unending cycle of violence it can’t seem to pull itself out of.

There were two Ahmadi martyrs of Afghanistan but the one of Sahibzada Abdul Latif Shaheed is a particularly interesting story that highlights man’s obstinacy in refusing a Divine message/messenger.

In the book, “Ahmadiyyat: Renaissance of Islam” by Muhammad Zafrulla Khan, widely known Pakistani diplomat and esteemed lawyer, pgs: 93-104 in the PDF file (83-94 in the book) describes the story of this martyrdom.

This has also been recorded in the book by the Promised Messiah himself in his book: “Tadkiratush-Shahadatain”
